Plant electrical and machine networking on one programme.
Three-phase, switchboards, sub-board distribution and machine integration for Waikato and Bay of Plenty industrial sites — registered electrical and data infrastructure under one t
What's included
Industrial environments are where the cost of separated electrical and data trades shows up first. A plant network failure that turns out to be a power-conditioning issue, a new machine that the existing distribution can't handle, a PLC that works but has no as-built drawing — these are the recurring patterns in industrial sites where electrical and data have been delivered by separate contractors on separate programmes. Alexis IT handles both, under one accountability model, with documentation that survives the people who installed the work.
- Three-phase distribution design and install
- Switchboard build, rebuild and protective device coordination
- Sub-board distribution and circuit labelling
- Control panel install (machine cells, instrumentation, safety systems)
- PLC wiring and machine-to-network integration
- Coordination with industrial Wi-Fi, plant network VLANs and security infrastructure
- Compliance certification at handover (as-built pack, single-line diagrams, panel schedules)
- Planned maintenance under support agreement (thermal imaging, protective device testing, condition-based replacement)
- Extended-hours and after-hours industrial fault response
How we deliver it
Industrial work is scoped against the plant programme — production schedule, available shutdown windows, planned machine additions, the safety systems already in place. Distribution design is sized for current and forecast loads. Where the project involves machine networking or plant SCADA integration, the network design is validated in the Test LAN before it leaves the office. Documentation — single-line diagrams, panel schedules, PLC I/O lists — is issued at handover, so the maintenance team has the as-built pack from day one rather than three weeks later.
Outcomes
- Three-phase and machine networking coordinated on one programme
- As-built documentation that's actually as built — not approximations
- Planned maintenance against the plant's risk profile, not a generic schedule
- One team responsible across electrical, network and security infrastructure on site

we will scope the work against your production schedule and shutdown windows, and propose a coordinated programme.
