Why it matters
Construction sites carry a unique cost pattern in technology: most of the temporary infrastructure gets installed twice — once for the build, once for the permanent fit-out — because the temporary install isn't designed to fold into the permanent system. Same cabling goes in, comes out, goes back in. Same site CCTV gets ripped out and replaced. Same fibre carrier order goes in twice. How we work with construction firms
We scope construction work against the build programme — site office requirements upfront, fit-out specification at the milestone where it lands, handover scheduled inside the firm's commissioning window. Temporary site infrastructure is designed for the permanent building it will become part of, so cabling routes, fibre terminations and camera positions are planned with both phases in mind. At handover for each phase, you receive the as-built pack — same documentation standard as a single-phase project.
