Registered electrical, signed off in-house.
Commercial electrical for Waikato and Bay of Plenty fit-outs and infrastructure projects — delivered alongside cabling, network and security under one accountable team.
What's included
Most commercial fit-outs separate the electrical trade from the data trade and the security trade. That separation is the source of the most expensive coordination problems on site — pathway conflicts, missing compliance certificates, switchboard layouts that don't match the comms cabinet they have to power, three programmes that need to interlock and don't. Alexis IT delivers all four under one project programme. The cost saving isn't the headline rate — it's the absence of the second invoice for "the bits the sparky didn't do".
- Switchboard design, install and certification
- Sub-board distribution, labelling and single-line documentation
- Three-phase install and protective device coordination
- Lighting circuits, power circuits, dedicated cabinet circuits
- Compliance certification at handover (Certificate of Compliance, Record of Inspection)
- Coordination with data cabling, network and security work on the same site
- Extended-hours and after-hours electrical fault response under support agreement
How we deliver it
We scope electrical work as part of the overall technology install for the site. Switchboard design, sub-board distribution, lighting and power circuits, and any dedicated runs for the comms cabinet are documented in one schedule. On site, the registered electrical team is the same team that runs the structured cabling and installs the security and CCTV infrastructure. At handover, you receive the as-built electrical pack — single-line diagrams, switchboard schedules, protective device schedule, certificates of compliance — alongside the cabling and security documentation.
Outcomes
- One coordinated programme across electrical, cabling, network and security
- Compliance certification arriving with the install, not weeks later
- Switchboard labelling and as-builts that hand over cleanly to the next contractor
- No second invoice for "the bits the sparky didn't do"
